Washed Ashore Crafts creates as you might expect from the name, gifts using pebbles, shells, sea glass and driftwood all found on the shoreline. We began some 15 years ago initially by creating unique pieces of pebble art work for friends and family, and thereafter attending a number of craft events throughout the UK. Using beautiful, natural, locally sourced materials from the North East Coast, we create handcrafted pebble and resin gifts perfect for all homes, ideal for that extra special gift.
All of our ideas originate at the sea shore of a beach, which is not only a vast sweep of sand, a place of relaxation and tranquillity but a treasure trove of sea creatures’ shells, sea glass, pebbles, driftwood and lots of other bits and pieces washed ashore by the ocean. We all need a visit to the beach, find a shell in our pocket and to feel the sand between our toes.
All gifts are completely Handcrafted with all pebbles and any embellishments secured in place on appropriate arts and craft card or paper background using industry recognised glues. Our resin gifts contain natural shells, dried flowers and carefully selected embellishments.
Creating pebble art is simple yet so effective. We love creating original designs and bespoke pieces. All our pebble art is handcrafted with lots of love, thought and attention to detail. The appeal of pebble art is its uniqueness, no two pictures are the same, stones, driftwood, sea shells have all been created by Mother Nature and each adds splendour to the art in their own individual way. Each handcrafted pebble or resin gift in our beautiful range is both distinctive and individual, not one finished item is the same.
All of our handcrafted gifts have been inspired by family, nature and of course the sea which, as a thoughtful gift, will add something special to any home.
